About Me:
Finished university July 2008 with a BA (Hons) Illustration, currently working the old 9-5 trying to save some money so I can move to Manchester and doodlling on the side. My interests are doodling (of course) drinking tea, collecting things that I can use in my work -- sweets wrappers, scraps of paper, buttons etc. cats, biting my nails and rambling -- I'll stop.. Helloooo! Good to see a fellow recent graduate on here, your work is especially gorgeous! You've got a real talent for character design, too.

Yes, I also just realised you are the Inspector Marmalade who follows me on Blogger - I think I need to start using that feature myself, seeing as my Bookmarks menu has started to cry with pain every time I add a site to my list :).

In answer to your question...I wish I worked with vectors in Illustrator, it would probably make my life much easier! Unfortunately everything starts with a tatty old mechanical 2B pencil, followed by hours of tweaking in Photoshop (I work in layers of scanned textures so it's a bit like collage, really).

You're website's looking cool, I'll be visiting again in the near future :).

Hello!

Your work is really nice. Some real good work. Good luck for the site, I just finished mine last month using dreamweaver, its really good once you get the hang of it.

Yay envelopes fans! its funny that you mention pop ups too... i'm obsessed with them... i'm making a fold out house from a book at the moment, it'll be partly stitched and collages. May I ask what the pop up workshop is? are you exploring pop ups too?
