About Me:
Me Me Me!
I make most of my images by carving rubber and relief printing from them, I then add the more detailed line work, using a ridiculously fine pencil.

I like to make books and jewelery too, and fabric things like spats and dresses. Makes a nice change for me to do these things as well. I sell them on various stalls and the Jewellery is stocked at the ICA, London.

I co-curate the Top and Tail gallery in Hackney Wick (east London). I have my own website, and a blog too for all those who wish to see more...

East end art/flea market!

Hello lovely hermits! If you are out and about in London tomorrow come to Hackney Wick for a sunny afternoon of bargain vintage treats and handmade gems. I'll be there with some hand made illustrated jewellery and such like- come and introduce yourself! And don't forget 'Hackney Wicked' festival is coming up so this would be a great chance to meet some people and get involved- it's gonna be big!

Regular A4 as usual, although the Zine will probably be reduced to A5 when it's printed. Im planning on selling some ideally at the Liverpool book Fayre when it comes up, although any money made will go back into the 'WIG Fund'. I'll post you a copy when it's all ship-shape and bristol fashion, thanks for partaking.

I'd actually really like it if you drew a man with a beard! Im putting together one at the moment which is almost done, I'd need something by the end of this week, but don't sweat it.

The comic is called 'WIG' and it's only two rules for submissions is that it be in black and white and the other one is that if your name's 'Betony May' you have to draw a man with a beard for yout first time. Words and writing are a bonus. Look forward to hereing from you.
