Would anyone be able to recommend a quality multi fuction laser printer? Ive been looking for 2 weeks and dont seem to be getting anywhere. I dont really have the space for a seperate printer and scanner and I hear laser printers work out cheaper in the long run, I just cant seem to find a good one which doesnt require stupidly expensive toners. Can anyone help me please?

From a bit of research I did into laser printers a while ago you pretty much get what you pay for - The cheaper printers need more expensive cartridges and the machines that can print more from a single cartridge are more expensive...fuuny that!

Depending on how much you are planning to print there are schemes run by certain companies where you pay a monthly fee which covers all your ink no matter how much you print, but this costs about £300 per moth on top of the cost of the printer from what I can remember.

somewhere like this:

might be able to advise you further.

But I think the most important thing to look for is how many pages you can print per cartridge and then do some maths!

Thanks for the link and advice chris, think I possibly gave myself too many options, spent so many late nights reading reviews and comparing prices -- exhausting! so ive decided to leave getting a laser printer until I earnt it, in the end i chose a Canon multi/scanner/print/copier because of the space problem and much cheaper price, strangly canon ink cartridges work out pretty cheap especially if u buy directly from canon which is weird, you'd think they would be the most expensive. Thanks again! :)
